Azospirillum brasilense, a nitrogen fixing bacteria, OMRI & CDFA / OIM certified.

Nitrogen is required in the greatest amount of all nutrients transported to plants through the soil. It drives chlorophyll production in the foliage and keeps plants green and growing efficiently. Azos (Azospirillum brasilense) is a naturally occurring bacteria that lives symbiotically with a host plant and supplies necessary nitrogen.

How Does Liquid Azos Work?

Our atmosphere is made up of 80% nitrogen. Azos absorbs this nitrogen as N2, converts it to a form that the plant can use and supplies it to the plant efficiently.

Idiot-proof nitrogen balance at the flip from Veg to Flower

Liquid Azos is an RTI product, not a WOW product, so I actually emailed the guy who owns the company (Ron- he's great- feel free to hit him up. Suuuuuuper helpful every time I've emailed him). to get some info. I've used liquid Azos before and wasn't really too impressed, so I moved onto a liquid N-fixing microbe called "Quantum," which was definitely solid and inexpensive. 2 cycles ago I went with the Quantum, but last time I decided "what the heck, I'll try liquid Azos again, but this time I'll get it straight through WOW." HOLY TOLEDO!!!! It has made my life SO much easier. LUSH, LUSH, LUSH!!! Ok so talking medical cannabis here (which is where my recent results came from), liquid Azos beat Quantum by a gazillion %. Here's why: WOW Liquid Azos- while identical to RTI Liquid Azos in stores- is WAY fresher. This basically means it's WAY more "alive." Honestly this is the most potent liquid microbe I've ever seen in your life. I'd put this stuff almost on the level of the regular WOW microbes. Here's what I've been using it for- trust me, I've run these experiments. This WORKS: Cloning: foliar spray a half teaspoon per cloning tray RIGHT OFF THE BAT. First day- same time you're using Clonex gel. Veg: I've been using it once a week (but honestly that's excessive). It's like a magic wand. The microbe actually enters the cellular structure of the plants' tissues and fixes nitrogen in the soil, around the roots (for uptake/regulation), and IN THE LEAVES!!!!! Hahahaaaa! It's amazing! MOST IMPORTANT: EARLY FLOWERING: Ok so you guys know that when you flip cannabis from 18/6 to 12/12 you've gotta drop the nitrogen levels right If not this is a really good thing to know. If you've ever locked-out your plants right at the beginning of flowering that's most likely why: high nitrogen levels. Again- FOLIAR spray them at an application rate of 2 tspn/gallon (although I've been using more) one week before you flip- then the day that you flip, and- THIS IS THE COOL ONE!!!!- foliar spray them again at week 2 when the buds appear. I know this one sounds crazy or wrong (foliar feeding with buds starting to show), but this is what prompted me to write this article. If nothing else: FOLIAR SPRAY 2tspn/gallon RO at week 2 Flowering. Again- I know it sounds crazy, but trust me you've never seen a reaction like you will if you try this one out. Amazing. Week 2 F. I know! I can't believe it either.
